Description
Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital (Travel/Contract)
Location: Macon, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week (5x8 hour shifts)
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Schedule & Work Details
- Monday through Friday with one weekend per month required
- No on-call duties
- Floating within facility scope of practice (acute care) and to a nearby hospital as needed
- Expected to work major holidays if they fall during the assignment (up to two holidays required)
- Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length (e.g., 10 hours for 10-week assignment)
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (acute care physical therapy)
- First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
- Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
