Description
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab (Travel/Contract)
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
Shift: Day, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in Cath Lab setting
- Schedule: 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week
- On-call requirement: Late stay if needed
- Start date: July 6
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- Social Security Card (if used for I9 verification)
- Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
- Background checks including:
- 7-year criminal history check (all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- Education verification:
- RN candidates must provide diploma or transcript from highest level of education (associate’s degree or higher)
- State License primary source verification and NURSYS verification required
- Facility-specific documents including photo for badge and compliance checklists
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start (facility-specific form required)
- Immunizations/vaccinations or approved exemptions required for:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (3-dose series, 2-dose Heplisav, positive titer, or signed declination)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declining during flu season)
- COVID-19 doses 1 and 2 or declination form
- Drug screening within 90 days of start (10 panel including Oxycodone and Marijuana)
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year if respirator use is required
- Pass/fail testing on cardiac arrhythmia and medication dosage during orientation (two attempts allowed)
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required annually
- Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing required for RNs
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
Additional Notes
- Locals within 75 miles are accepted
- Must submit all Return to Office (RTO) requests during submittal process
- References required per agency policy (not a facility requirement)
- Attendance policy strictly enforced for travelers
