Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) – Days
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide patient care throughout surgical or medical procedures.
- Ensure patients are prepared for surgery and assist with recovery by providing information on procedure outcomes or potential outcomes.
Shift Details
- Day shift
- 8 hours per day
- No special scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Additional Information
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
- On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour.
- No increased pay rates for overtime, holidays, or call-back.
- Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their direct employment ended.
Summary
This temporary Operating Room RN position requires at least 2 years of OR nursing experience, with a preference for CVOR experience. The role involves day shifts with standard 8-hour days and no special scheduling. Candidates should hold the necessary certifications and be prepared for orientation on Thursdays. Local candidates may receive consideration for adjusted rates.
