Radiation Therapist (Oncology) - Maumee, OH

Job Type

Work Schedule

Day shift
8 hours per day

Job Description

Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
Perform treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
Prepare equipment for patient treatments and perform quality control and assurance tests
Ensure proper infection control techniques
Adhere to radiation safety and protection practices
Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
Follow nationally accepted standards of practice and quality patient care provisions

Equipment Experience

Linear Accelerator (LINAC)
TrueBeam machine by VARIAN
ARIA software

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
ARRT (T) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist)
