Assignment Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Evening, Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (5x8 hours)
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks)
- On-call: Yes, some weekend call coverage required
- Block schedule accommodation: Yes
- Local candidates not accepted (must live at least 50 miles from facility)
Unit Information
- Performs a variety of general and vascular ultrasound exams
- Patient population includes neonates, children, and adults
- Registered sonographer required for both general and vascular ultrasound
- Preferred credentials: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in abdomen or obstetrics/gynecology and vascular technology
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Vascular Sonographer experience
- Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)

Time Off and Scheduling
- Time off requests approved individually upon offer and must be included in submittal
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
- E-Verify attestation required
- Education verification required
- Drug screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
- Fit mask testing required annually for travel candidates (onsite or valid record)
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required via LMS
