Description

Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Position

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Day shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Must work at two locations approximately 10 miles apart (about 15 minutes driving time).
  • Block scheduling accommodations are available.
  • Locals and candidates with pending licenses are accepted.
  • No weekend shifts required.
  • No on-call duties.
  • Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs.
  • First-time travelers are not accepted.
  • Return-to-office restrictions ideally no more than 5 days.
  • Facility uses Varian True Beams (4 units, 2 with EDGE packages), GE CT SIM, Align/Vision RT, CBCT, and Triggered Imaging technology.
  • Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Magnet recognized, Teaching hospital, Level III Trauma center.
  • Charting system: Excellian/Epic.
  • Parking cost: Flat rate of $0.55/hour.
  • Scrub color: Grey.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Minnesota.
  • Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year.
  • Must hold current ARRT-T (Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC, RQI acceptable; certificate of completion not accepted).
