Description
Sonographer (Vascular) – Temp Position
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Perform approximately 15 scans per day on general, OB/GYN, and vascular patients.
- Experience with abdomen, small parts, and OB imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans.
- Perform transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging.
- Conduct upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, aorta duplex, carotid arterial doppler, hepatic and renal doppler exams.
- Preferred experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures.
- Use EPIC EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, with vascular sonography experience within the last year.
- ARDMS certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Experience using EPIC EMR system.
