Description

Sonographer (Vascular) – Temp Position

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Perform approximately 15 scans per day on general, OB/GYN, and vascular patients.
Experience with abdomen, small parts, and OB imaging including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans.
Perform transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging.
Conduct upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, aorta duplex, carotid arterial doppler, hepatic and renal doppler exams.
Preferred experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures.
Use EPIC EMR system.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, with vascular sonography experience within the last year.
ARDMS certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience using EPIC EMR system.
