Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER
Location: Abilene, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse license (Texas)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA accepted
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- ENPC and/or PALS (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course / Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CPR-BCLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- TNCC certification
- ENPC or PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
