Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
- Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Float: No floating between units
On-call: Yes, 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks (call only)
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Call-back time: 20 minutes, must remain within call-back area when on call
Primary services include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics (C-section), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Ophthalmology
Shift length: 8 hours, variable start times as above
No 48-hour shifts approved
Scrub color: Any color allowed
Charting system: Epic
Parking: No fee

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
