Mammography Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM)
• No weekends or on-call required
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Experience required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• Prior travel experience not required; first-time travelers accepted
• EPIC experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Ohio
• Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• ARRT Mammography certification
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• E-Verify completed prior to start
• 7-year criminal background check (including SSN trace, national and county checks, sex offender registry) within 12 months of start
• Education verification (primary source)
• Physical exam within 2 years, indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray documentation; annual TB questionnaire if past positive
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (vaccination series, immune titer, or declination)
• Drug screening: Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 12 months, including marijuana panel; lab confirmation required if instant screen positive
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
• Skills checklist updated within 1 year prior to documentation due date
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam within 2 years
• References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be manager/supervisor/charge RN) or employment verification if references unavailable
• Current resume/application required

Additional Notes

• The site is screening only
• The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census
• The employer may cancel the agreement with 2 weeks’ notice without penalty
• Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives
• Return to Offer (RTO) requests must be submitted with initial application; no RTO added after offer
• RTO approval is at manager’s discretion

This position is ideal for Mammography Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, who are registered and licensed in Ohio, and who have completed required mammography-specific continuing education and certifications. The role offers a consistent day shift schedule without weekends or call, with opportunities for first-time travel techs.
