Description
Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift, 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Monday through Friday
- On-call duties required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Background and Compliance Checks
- 7-year background check including county criminal search for all locations lived/worked in last 7 years
- Sex offender search
- State police investigation for behavioral health (if applicable)
- Education verification as applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
Additional Requirements
- Photo for badge (passport style, head and shoulders, clear background preferred)
- Completion of facility-specific forms prior to start (e.g., job description acknowledgment, internet access form)
- Medication and EKG study guides provided for exam preparation
- For ER RNs only: 2 hours of Texas Forensic Evidence Collection training (not applicable for Cath Lab)
Notes
- Candidates must complete competency exams within 30 days of start
- Candidates are allowed two attempts to pass required exams; a third attempt may be allowed with client approval
- Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation and updated annually
This position offers a local travel contract opportunity with a structured day shift schedule and requires compliance with comprehensive credentialing, certification, and health documentation standards.
