Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Shift: Variable day/night schedule (two day shifts & one night shift)


Job Summary

Provide cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients following approved protocols and department policies. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
  • Delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
  • Maintaining airways and ventilator management
  • Insertion of arterial lines and intubations
  • Performing pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wyoming
  • Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
  • Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including days and nights
