Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Newark, New Jersey
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide individualized, age-specific nursing care focused on IV Access within Radiology and Imaging Services.
Responsibilities include insertion and management of IVs, midlines, and PICCs according to competency.
Monitor for complications and respond appropriately.
Maintain sterile technique and TIME OUT compliance.
Ensure emergency equipment readiness.
Review post-PICC chest x-rays per policy.
Educate patients and families.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current IV Certification.
