Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Full-time, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Rotating call schedule: at least 1 day per week, up to 2 days if needed
• Rotating weekends on every 3rd weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Arkansas
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted)

Experience

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Measles (Rubeola) - titer or 2 vaccines
  • Mumps - titer or 2 vaccines
  • Rubella - titer or 2 vaccines
  • Hepatitis B - titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella - titer or 2 vaccines
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (10/1 - 3/31); declinations not accepted; mask required if exempt
• Drug screening: Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable); travelers cannot start with pending drug screens
• Color blind exam required (MD office or online accepted)

Competency Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Core competency testing and HIPAA acknowledgment required

• Annual orientation modules completed on first day of assignment
