Technologist - Cardiovascular (Days)

Location: Towson, Maryland
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)


Job Description

Provide clinically relevant information to assist vascular surgeons with diagnosis and treatment of patients under limited supervision. Duties align with education, training, facility policies, and professional standards.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
  • Active certification as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) CCI
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prior travel experience, having completed at least one previous travel contract

Documentation Requirements

  • Updated resume with explanations for any gaps over 30 days
  • Two supervisory references: one from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months
  • Skills checklist specific to the technologist discipline
  • Facility-specific cover page (provided if not available)

Additional Information

  • Overtime starts after 48 hours worked; 1.5x pay for OT, call back, and holidays
  • Candidates may request time off equivalent to one week of contracted hours, either as a continuous block or split days
  • Orientation sessions may be scheduled up to 6 weeks in advance
