Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract) - Midland, Texas

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery)
Location: Midland, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Assignment Length: 16 weeks preferred; 13 weeks considered
Start Date: Within the next 3-5 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition areas (no post-partum)
Backfill for existing staff members

Required Certifications

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA accepted (Instructor, Provider, RQI)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA accepted (Instructor, Provider, RQI)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
