Description

Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer Travel Contract

Location: Fishersville, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (varied start times)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Travel Radius: Must live within 50 miles; no local travelers accepted

Job Description

Perform adult echocardiography including stress echos and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
Procedures frequently performed on ICU and ED patients
Average daily patient census: 8-10
Equipment used: GE and Philips ultrasound machines
Call schedule: every 3-4 weekends and 1-2 weeknights per week
Scrubs color: Black

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Echo Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Must hold or obtain one of the following credentials:
- ARDMS RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
- CCI RDS (Registered Diagnostic Sonographer)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
