Registered Nurse - PCU (Night Shift) - Texas, Abilene

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 48
• Start Date: July start date strongly preferred
• Location Requirement: Must live 150 miles or more from the facility
• Flexibility: May be asked to float to another floor or campus

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

• Minimum years of experience in specialty: 1 year of recent Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• Prior travel experience: Not required

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)

• NIH Stroke Certification
• Color Blind Testing (online Ishihara test accepted)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
• Pass/Fail Testing for Telemetry Nurses (EKG/Medication)
