Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab
Location

Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5 days/week, 40 hours/week)
- Weekend Requirement: 1 regular weekend shift per week (Saturday)
- On-call: Not required
- Float: Position may float between units
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
- Immunizations/Vaccinations:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B - vaccination series or signed declination
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID-19 vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
- TB Screening: Negative TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs) within 12 months; must be updated annually
- Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months of start; instants acceptable
- Fit Mask Testing: Required for travel candidates; must be updated annually unless exempted by specialty or facility
- Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required annually for travel candidates; virtual questionnaire reviewed by healthcare professional
Background and Compliance
- Background Check: Within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must include SSN trace, death master index, sex offender registry, FACIS Level 3, education verification, MVR if applicable
- Education Verification: Required for all candidates; must verify related degree or highest education level
- State-Specific Searches: Required as applicable (e.g., Oregon Abuse/Neglect, Washington State Patrol)
- NURSYS Verification: Required for all RNs; applies to license verification and past actions
- Work History Verification: Required if exceptions to reference requirements are requested; minimum 5 years verified work history
- Skills Checklist: Required annually for applicable units
Training and Competency
- Competency Exams: Required as applicable by profession and specialty
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency: Required as applicable
- Epic Charting System: Familiarity with Epic required; completion of Epic training modules may be required depending on facility/unit
- Annual Regulatory and Specialty-Specific Modules: Required annually via LMS platform, except for certain exclusions and return candidates with recent completion
Additional Information
- Scrub Color: Any color for RN/Allied staff; scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units
- Parking: No fee
- Floating Policy: Acknowledgement required; may float to other facilities within reasonable distance
