Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (4/10's, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
On Call: 9-10 shifts per month including 1 weekend
Job Description
- Perform duties as a Cardio-Vascular Radiologic Technologist in the Cath Lab.
- Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring during invasive radiological procedures.
- Utilize sterile technique and scrub for procedures such as angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO, device implants, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, Peripheral).
- STEMI coverage is required.
- Use of Impella and IABP devices is expected.
- Monitor and record on MacLab system; training on MacLab will be provided.
- Maintain knowledge of products and restock procedure rooms as needed.
- Scrub color: any solid color.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.
- Structural Heart experience is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification required.
- Experience specifically as a Cath Lab Technologist.
