Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel/Contract

Location: Kingsport, Tennessee
Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Job Details

Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 7:00)
Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no call
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Floats Required: Yes
Unit Types: Orthopedics, Spine, Medical-Surgical
Orientation: 16 hours non-billable; general orientation begins Sundays (online CBLs)
Travel Distance: Must live within 100 miles of the facility
Additional Info:
- Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
- Overtime shifts available and may be flexed based on census/resource needs
- Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
