Physical Therapist (Travel) - Texas, Jacksonville

Job Summary

• Provide physical therapy care for outpatient populations including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patients.
• Responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing physical therapy interventions.
• Adhere to all standards of the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Independently assess all assigned patient types and exercise good judgment in clinical decision-making.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Identify and recommend appropriate equipment to patients and families.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Full-time travel position
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Temp-to-perm possibility

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Bachelor's degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Patient Population

• Normal outpatient types including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patients
• Outpatient experience highly preferred
