Mammography Tech - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with DEXA technology

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

Identification & Background

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background check including:

  • 7-year search within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • Social Security trace
  • County searches for last 7 years of locations lived/worked/schooled
  • Nationwide sex offender check
  • Education verification through NSCH
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks annually
• Transcript/Diploma verification required

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable
• Tech certification verification as applicable
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exam as applicable by specialty

Facility-Specific Documents

• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• Completion of facility-specific forms including security, confidentiality, behavioral expectations, HIPAA, and agency attestation
• Job description acknowledgment specific to Mammography Tech

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, TSPOT) or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)

References & History

• Two professional references within 3 years
• Annual skills checklist

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with a defined contract length and requires specific radiology certifications and experience with Dexa technology. Compliance with comprehensive background, health, and facility-specific documentation is mandatory.
