Job Opportunity: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Voorhees, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must be able to float to Level II Nursery as needed, caring for the lowest acuity newborns.
• Float assignments may include up to 5 hospitals within the skillset.
• Patient ratio is 1 nurse to 4 patients.
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) required.
• Block scheduling is not allowed.
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation must be submitted at time of application; late submissions will not be accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 3 years of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement.

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred.
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility receive a local rate adjustment.
• Must complete facility-specific documents including badge photo submission by deadline.
• Medication and competency exams required as applicable.
• Dysrhythmia testing is not required for this unit.
• Candidates must complete all required documentation and certifications before starting.
• Must be able to work night shifts and float as needed within the hospital system.
