Description

Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Travel Position

Location

Portland, Maine

Job Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Rotating day shifts including weekends
10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Overnight call 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM, 2-3 nights per month (with cardiologist approval)
Total 40 hours per week

Work Environment

Busy inpatient echocardiography lab in a tertiary care hospital with Level I trauma center
High-volume workload: 7-8 echocardiograms per day
Fast-paced, critical care setting

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac sonographer experience
Experience in an inpatient setting
Adherence to ASE (American Society of Echocardiography) standards

Additional Notes

Position requires adherence to strict call guidelines with cardiologist approval for call-ins
Collaborative work culture with sonographers, cardiologists, and fellows
