Registered Nurse – Hematology/Transplant Unit (Travel/Contract)
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Work on a hematology/transplant unit caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
- Administer chemotherapy, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapy.
- Provide supportive care for hematologic patients.
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week).
- Nurse-to-patient ratio approximately 1:4.
- Float required.
- Every other week (EOW) schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of Bone Marrow Transplant experience, including experience within the last year.
- Chemotherapy administration experience.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
