Description

Dietitian (Inpatient) - Travel/Contract

Location: Marion, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (2 days per week)
Hours: 16 hours per week (20 hours noted in description, scheduled Monday and Friday 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Start Date: July

Job Description

Provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy using the Nutrition Care Process for hospitalized patients across acute care service lines.
Identify nutrition problems, develop evidence-based nutrition care plans, and ensure accurate clinical documentation reflecting patient nutritional status.
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, nursing, pharmacy, and case management.
Focus on nutrition support for medically complex patients, malnutrition identification and documentation, and timely intervention for patients at nutritional risk.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in Indiana.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
Experience working as an RDN within the last year.
