• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 24 every other weekend (36 hours otherwise)
• Holidays: Work as needed

Unit Information

• Department: Respiratory Therapy, First Floor
• Number of Beds: 81
• Patient Population: Adult, pediatric, and newborn (birthing center)
• Equipment Used:

  • Fisher & Paykel Airvo 2 nasal oxygen high flow system
  • Respironics V60 ventilator
  • Drager Evita Infinity V500 ventilator
  • Getinge Servo-s ventilator
  • Hamilton T1 ventilator
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must be able to work independently as needed
• Float to Waldo County General Hospital as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Any color allowed
• Unacceptable Attire: Open-toe shoes and hats
