Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float to the High-Risk Obstetrics (HROB) unit as needed; HROB includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum patients, and those on continuous monitoring.
• May be required to float within 5 hospitals within skillset (locations include Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL).
• Facility is a Level III high-risk center.
• Block scheduling is NOT allowed.
• Electronic charting experience with EPIC preferred.
• Scrubs provided by the hospital.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 2.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current NRP certification.

Additional Information

• Return to Office (RTO) documentation must be submitted at time of application; late submissions will not be accepted.
• Local rate adjustment applies for candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital.
• Medication and pharmacology competency exams required as applicable.
• Candidates must complete facility-specific documents including badge photo and, if applicable, personal or auto insurance for home health assignments.
• Candidates cannot work first shift without completing the fit mask test.

Summary

This is a travel contract opportunity for experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses with a minimum of 2.5 years of specialty experience, active NJ RN license, and required certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP). The role involves floating between multiple hospitals within the system and working in a Level III high-risk obstetrics environment. Compliance with extensive credentialing, testing, and health requirements is mandatory. The position offers day shifts with 36 hours per week over 3 shifts. First-time travelers are welcome.
