Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Voorhees, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Float assignment required within 5 hospitals based on skillset.
• Multispecialty department performing GYN, ENT, hand procedures, pediatric urology, and dental cases.
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Total hours per week: 36.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Ability to circulate in the operating room.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred.
• Local candidates within 50 miles receive a reduced rate (not included here).
• Work history verification required for at least 1 year prior to start date with no gaps over 30 days (New Jersey state mandate).
• Candidates must be willing and able to float among multiple hospital locations within the system.

This position is ideal for experienced OR RNs with pediatric skills who are flexible and able to work in a multispecialty surgical environment.
