Description

Radiology Technician Job Opportunity

Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 13-hour shifts
  • Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Job Requirements & Preferences

  • Experience with McKesson preferred
  • Experience with GE equipment preferred

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Medical Lab Technician license in New York
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
  • Radiology Technician experience
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

Health and Safety Compliance

  • COVID-19 vaccine proof required, including booster by September 2025 (declination or exemption requires agency letterhead)
  • MMR vaccination proof (2 doses or IgG titer) required
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series must be started prior to start date (titers not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended
  • Varicella vaccination proof (1 dose or IgG titer) required
  • 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test required; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year or 5 years depending on region
  • Fit test for N95 mask required (specific to certain states)
  • Physical/health statement from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
  • 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)

Professional and Background Checks

  • Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check from last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
  • Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma
  • Exclusion checks including EPLS, OIG, and NSO within 30 days of start
  • Conflict of interest disclosure and confidentiality agreements signed prior to start
  • Code of conduct form signed prior to start
  • Integrity and audit services form signed shortly before start
  • System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
  • Standard I-9 completed by agency

This position requires a Radiology Technician with relevant experience and certifications, able to work overnight shifts for a 13-week contract in Syracuse, NY. Compliance with health, safety, and professional credentialing is mandatory before starting.
