Radiology Technician Job Opportunity
Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 13-hour shifts
- Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Job Requirements & Preferences
- Experience with McKesson preferred
- Experience with GE equipment preferred
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Medical Lab Technician license in New York
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year
- Radiology Technician experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Health and Safety Compliance
- COVID-19 vaccine proof required, including booster by September 2025 (declination or exemption requires agency letterhead)
- MMR vaccination proof (2 doses or IgG titer) required
- Hepatitis B vaccination series must be started prior to start date (titers not accepted)
- Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended
- Varicella vaccination proof (1 dose or IgG titer) required
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test required; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year or 5 years depending on region
- Fit test for N95 mask required (specific to certain states)
- Physical/health statement from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
Professional and Background Checks
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check from last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma
- Exclusion checks including EPLS, OIG, and NSO within 30 days of start
- Conflict of interest disclosure and confidentiality agreements signed prior to start
- Code of conduct form signed prior to start
- Integrity and audit services form signed shortly before start
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Standard I-9 completed by agency
This position requires a Radiology Technician with relevant experience and certifications, able to work overnight shifts for a 13-week contract in Syracuse, NY. Compliance with health, safety, and professional credentialing is mandatory before starting.
