Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Travel/Contract)
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
- Setting: Outpatient Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Therapy Pool, Full Service Gym
- Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days a week, 40 hours/week)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 (no double patients)
- Patient Age Range: 7 to 90 years old
- Weekend Requirement: None
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted at same rate
Required Qualifications
- Wyoming Physical Therapist (PT) State License in Hand or ability to apply immediately (license processing takes approximately 6 weeks)
- Minimum 1.5 years of PT experience required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
- Physical exam within 1 year of start date
- Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year; if past positive, negative chest x-ray within 1 year required
- Immunization or titer proof for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (or documented history/vaccination/declination as applicable)
- 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start date
- Annual flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- Background checks within 1 year including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender registry
- Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- Two professional references within 3 years (for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles)
- Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
- Government-issued photo ID and emergency contact form required prior to start
