Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Augusta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Job Summary

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology Tech)
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Average daily census: 8 patients
Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, PACS
Scrub color provided by facility
Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Call requirement: 10 days per month
Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
Holiday work expectation:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
Return to Office (RTO) maximum: 7 days
RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th–12th)

Contract Length

16 weeks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
BLS certification

Orientation and Compliance

Full compliance with all requirements needed to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week start delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment, 19 hours for 19-week assignment)

Additional Notes

Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit before final approval
Locals accepted at the same rate
Candidate must review and sign facility’s Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
