Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Augusta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40


Job Summary

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology Tech)
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • Average daily census: 8 patients
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, PACS
  • Scrub color provided by facility
  • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Call requirement: 10 days per month
  • Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
  • Holiday work expectation:
    • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
    • If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
    • If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
  • Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
  • Return to Office (RTO) maximum: 7 days
  • RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th–12th)

Contract Length

  • 16 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
  • BLS certification

Orientation and Compliance

  • Full compliance with all requirements needed to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week start delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
  • Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment, 19 hours for 19-week assignment)

Additional Notes

  • Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit before final approval
  • Locals accepted at the same rate
  • Candidate must review and sign facility’s Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
