Registered Nurse - PCU (Night Shift) - Fayetteville, North Carolina

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 19:00 - 7:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Scheduling: Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Block Scheduling: Open to accommodating
• Floating: Required to float within scope to like units as needed
• Travel Pairs: Not accepted
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (must be outside a 50-mile radius from main campus)
• Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
• Contract Limit: Maximum of 2 contracts (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Call-off Policy: Up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment allowed; after that, contracted hours are guaranteed

• COVID-19 Vaccines: Not required but accepted if available
• Exemptions: Religious and medical exemptions for COVID and flu vaccines require facility approval with specific documentation

This position is ideal for Registered Nurses with at least 2 years of experience who are comfortable working night shifts in a progressive care setting, meeting certification and competency requirements, and adhering to strict health and facility policies.
