Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Cartersville, Georgia

Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
- Scrub cases alongside an Interventional Radiologist.
- Required general skills: Portables, C-Arm, Contrast, Biopsies.
- Required IR experience: Ablations, Nephrogram, Kyphoplasty, Peripherals, Biopsies, Hemodynamic monitoring.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), 40 hours per week.
- Weekend rotations required on a rotational basis.
- Call responsibilities included.
- Floating within the facility as needed within scope of practice.
- Minimum specialty experience: 1 year. First-time travelers accepted.
- Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit before final approval.
- Return to Office (RTO) time: Maximum 7 days.
- Holiday work expectations: If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, must work it; if 2, must work both; if 3, must work 2 of them.
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day.
- Full compliance with onboarding and credentialing required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling.
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
Required Qualifications
- Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start date required.
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSpot) within 12 months or chest x-ray if previously positive. TB questionnaire required annually.
- Immunizations or proof of immunity required:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer).
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer).
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination.
- Flu vaccination or signed declination required during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31).
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (including Amphetamines, Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates, Cocaine, Opiates, Methadone, PCP, Propoxyphene, THC). Instant drug screen acceptable.
- Background check required within 30 days of start, including education verification and criminal history checks. Cannot start with background pending.
- Education verification required; diplomas/transcripts may be accepted in lieu if verification is pending.
Additional Requirements
- Two clinical references required.
- Skills checklist updated within the last 12 months.
- Verification of most recent work history required; can be pending at start with proof it is in process.
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific policies including Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start.

- Orientation hours are non-billable and vary based on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment).
- Clinical screens and final hiring decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
- Candidates must be fully compliant with all requirements to avoid delays in start date.
