Job Opportunity: Cardiac Rehab Registered Nurse

Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab gym focusing on exercise and case management.
Support inpatient cardiac rehab including assisted ambulation and patient education.
Work with a staffing ratio of 2 staff members to 1 patient at a time.
Shift: Day shift, 2 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Experience in rehabilitation nursing, preferably cardiac rehab.
