Description
Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Potosi, Missouri
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload and take on Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
- Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) processes.
- Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
- Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Attend morning and facility meetings and manage scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
- Experience in a Long Term Care setting
- Experience in supervisory roles
- Knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model)
Additional Information
- Orientation includes 8 hours of New Business Orientation (NBO).
- 1.25 Occupational Therapy/Hours (OT/Hol) credit.
