Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: Potosi, Missouri
Employment Type: Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload and take on Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA.
Oversee and ensure compliance with Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) processes.
Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
Attend morning and facility meetings and manage scheduling.

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
Experience in a Long Term Care setting
Experience in supervisory roles
Knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model)

Additional Information

Orientation includes 8 hours of New Business Orientation (NBO).
1.25 Occupational Therapy/Hours (OT/Hol) credit.
