Description

Registered Nurse – Pediatrics

Location: Teaneck, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Schedule & Work Details

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12.5-hour shifts)
Hours per week: 36
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Work 1 holiday if 1 or 2 fall during assignment; 2 holidays if 3 fall during assignment
Floating: Will float to NICU/Nursery; assigned in rotation with facility staff per hospital policy and Joint Commission standards
Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1.5 on days and nights
Unit Size: 15 beds, 10 rooms
Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents
Dress Code: Black pants with pediatric-friendly top

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Experience working with pediatric patients
