Job Opportunity: House Supervisor (Registered Nurse)
Location: Colville, Washington

Job Description
- Position floats between units, primarily at one hospital but may require floating to another nearby facility.
- Requires experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Prior House Supervisor experience is required.
- No on-call duties.
- Weekend work required every other weekend.
- Block schedules are required.
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
- Facility is a Critical Access hospital with 25 staffed beds.
- Charting system used: Epic.
- Parking is free.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
- Minimum of 1 year of House Supervisor experience, with experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience in supervisory roles.
- Clinical experience in Emergency Department (ED).
- Clinical experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Experience
- Must have prior House Supervisor experience.
- Must have ED or ICU clinical experience.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Social Security Card (as applicable for I9 verification).
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Education verification required for nursing degree; international education requires additional documentation.
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment.
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating fitness to work.
- Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start.
- Immunizations and health screenings:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted).
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually.
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer or declination.
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination.
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or declination.
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to infection control policies.
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use (travel only).
- WA State Patrol background search required within 90 days of start for Washington placements.
- Multi-State Licensed Nurses in Washington must complete demographic attestation prior to start.
Additional Requirements
- Must acknowledge and comply with float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities).
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
- Epic training modules required; transcripts must be submitted and verified.
- Passport-style badge photo required for badge issuance (facility-specific).

Summary
