Job Description

• Position floats between units, primarily at one hospital but may require floating to another nearby facility.
• Requires experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Prior House Supervisor experience is required.
• No on-call duties.
• Weekend work required every other weekend.
• Block schedules are required.
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Facility is a Critical Access hospital with 25 staffed beds.
• Charting system used: Epic.
• Parking is free.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year of House Supervisor experience, with experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Clinical experience in Emergency Department (ED).
• Clinical experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Experience

• Must have prior House Supervisor experience.
• Must have ED or ICU clinical experience.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Social Security Card (as applicable for I9 verification).
• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
• Education verification required for nursing degree; international education requires additional documentation.
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment.
• Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating fitness to work.
• Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start.
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually.
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer or declination.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination.
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or declination.
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to infection control policies.
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use (travel only).
• WA State Patrol background search required within 90 days of start for Washington placements.
• Multi-State Licensed Nurses in Washington must complete demographic attestation prior to start.

Additional Requirements

• Must acknowledge and comply with float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities).
• Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
• Epic training modules required; transcripts must be submitted and verified.
• Passport-style badge photo required for badge issuance (facility-specific).
