Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Richardson, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• On-call and weekend availability required
• Must be agreeable to early release when needed; call-off policy applies

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Pass/fail testing for EKG and medication competency required prior to start

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific forms prior to start, including job description acknowledgment and internet access form
• For ER RNs only: 2 hours of Texas Forensic Evidence Collection training (not applicable for Cath Lab)
• E-Verify or attestation required

Notes

• Candidates must be prepared for on-call and weekend shifts as part of the assignment
• Early release from shift may be required occasionally
• All certifications and exams must be current and compliant with facility standards
• Candidates will be provided study guides for required competency exams

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab RNs licensed in Texas who are flexible with scheduling and meet the comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
