ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Belleville, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:45 - 7:15)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with floating to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) as needed
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Weekend requirement: Yes, working 3 out of every 6 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
- Start date: Approximately 3-4 weeks from offer due to compliance processing
- First-time travelers: Not accepted
- Locals accepted if within 75-mile radius (local rate applies)
- No pending licenses accepted
- Return-to-Office (RTO) restrictions: No more than 7 days off allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, with ICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Additional Requirements
- Must complete facility-specific compliance documents prior to start, including:
- HIPAA Acknowledgement
- Latex Allergy Questionnaire
- Confidentiality Form
- Regulatory Compliance Education (annual quiz with minimum 80% score)
- Hand Hygiene, Fingernail, and Dress Code policies acknowledgment
- Orientation modules (approximately 16 hours) completed through online platform before start
- Badge photo required (head and shoulders, white background, no obstructions, taken within 6 months)
- No on-call duties required
- Floating within scope to IMCU and ICU units as needed

Notes for Candidates
- Candidates must be prepared to work night shifts with weekend requirements
