Job Opportunity: Medical/Surgical RN

Location: Machias, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care.
Perform excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation tasks.
Function independently and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Shift

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Medical/Surgical unit)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine.
Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Medical/Surgical specialty (defaulted to higher requirement if discrepancy found).

Additional Notes

No prior travel experience explicitly required.
