Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab (Days)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in a complete Cath Lab providing cardiac and peripheral services including:
    • Left and Right Heart Catheterization
    • PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy
    • Carotid diagnostic and stenting
    • Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
    • Pacemaker insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty
    • AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy
  • Proficient monitoring of patients using devices such as Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices
  • Monitor LEXISCAN Stress Test
  • Use Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems
  • Rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure care, patient transport, and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Recent travel experience preferred but not required
  • On-call rotation includes paid call hours with a minimum of 1 hour per call
  • Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
