Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Block schedules required
  • No weekends or on-call required
  • Expected patient ratio: 1:1
  • No floating between units

Job Requirements

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in Washington
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Operating Room experience
  • Experience in a large hospital setting

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Washington state license or equivalent experience
  • Certifications (must be current and from approved organizations):
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
    • Chemotherapy certification (if applicable)
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (if applicable)
    • IV Certification (if applicable)
    • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (if applicable)
    • NIH Stroke Certification (if applicable)
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) (if applicable)
  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Competency exams as applicable by specialty

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
  • Fit mask test required for travel candidates (updated annually)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer with acceptable alternatives
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination/documentation
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer with acceptable alternatives
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
  • Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates

Training and Compliance

  • Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
  • Epic system training required for applicable units (OR and related hospital systems)
  • Skills checklist required annually for applicable units

  • Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background)
  • No 48-hour shifts approved
  • No floating between units
  • No on-call or weekend shifts required
