Description

Registered Nurse – Infusion

Location: Bend, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide intravenous nursing care with a focus on oncology infusion.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products.
Proficient in care, maintenance, and accessing of central lines.
Work day shift: 4 days per week, 9.5-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 1 year of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year.
Experience in a Home Care setting.
Oncology nursing experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

Oncology Nurse Society certification (OCN).
Two (2) years of oncology-focused intravenous nursing experience including chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Additional Information

Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable.
COVID-19 vaccination preferred; if vaccinated, documentation required. Declination or exemption required if unvaccinated.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a specialized oncology infusion role within a supportive clinical environment.
