Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Evening Shift, Zanesville, Ohio

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Evening (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Hours per Week: 36 hours
  • Schedule: Every other weekend required; taking call is very rare
  • Unit: Primarily 1S Observation unit with required float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the Emergency Department if skilled

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Ohio
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Direct Observation Unit (DOU) experience within the last year
  • Minimum 3 years of recent/current experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR (must be fully proficient; no refresher training or 1:1 shadowing allowed)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Additional Information

  • Start date is August 18th unless the RN is a returning traveler within 9 months
  • Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract; these hours are not limited to 12-hour shifts
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation to be honored
  • Compliance with contract terms (start/end dates and RTO) is mandatory to maintain agency/vendor status
