Job Opportunity: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Work Schedule

• Day shift, 4 days per week
• Hours: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Total 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Pediatric Echocardiography

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Valid/current US Driver’s License or US ID card (legible copy)
• Background checks within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including:

  • SSN Trace
  • Counties and States
  • National Criminal
  • National Sex Offender
  • FACIS Level 3
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days prior to start
• Education verification (official or unofficial transcript/diploma acceptable if pending)
• Illinois-specific state searches within 30 days of start:

  • Department of Corrections Inmate Search
  • State Police Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registry
  • Most Wanted Search (must show all 20 wanted fugitives)
• Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry fingerprinting for clinical candidates without an IL state license (fingerprints must be taken in Illinois 3 business days prior to start)
• Photo for badge (color, mid-shoulders up, plain background) due within one week of signing contract
• Review and sign Code of Conduct within 7 days of contract signing
• Complete computer-based learning (CBL) modules by 4 PM CST on first day of orientation
• Physical exam within one year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, DC, APN, FNP, or DO, confirming good physical and mental health and ability to perform job functions without restrictions
• Fit mask test required (3M1860 small/regular, 1870, or 1870+ masks accepted); PAPR documentation if applicable
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year of start; TB questionnaire required annually
• Immunization or documented immunity required for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, methaqualone, opiates, phencyclidine, propoxyphene)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required by November 30 annually (declinations not accepted)
