Registered Nurse (RN) - SSSU/PACU

Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, with shared on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Same Day Surgery Unit (SSSU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Float across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and support hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures.
Utilize strong skills in pre-operative care, PACU, and Phase II recovery.
Perform nursing assessments, peri-operative education, and care.
Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Minimum 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Schedule includes shared on-call rotation.
Must be able to work a variable schedule within the outlined shift pattern.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
