Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Days)

Schedule

• Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 36 hours per week

Job Summary

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse.
• Perform nursing functions in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing and facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
• Must be a team player
• Flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid)
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
• Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a reduced local rate
