Description
Nuclear Med Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (no weekends or call)
Hours per week: 36
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic scans of organs or body parts to aid physicians.
- Administer and document isotope dosages following departmental protocols.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Use experience and judgment to plan and complete tasks under general supervision.
- Work typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
- No floating or call required.
- EMR system used: MedHost (EDIS).
- Scrub color: Any.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New Mexico (fingerprints required for all travelers).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Philips Brightspeed imaging equipment.

- No option for 48-hour guarantee or blocked scheduling.
- Auto offers only; no interviews.
