Description

Nuclear Med Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (no weekends or call)
Hours per week: 36

Job Description

Perform diagnostic scans of organs or body parts to aid physicians.
Administer and document isotope dosages following departmental protocols.
Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities.
Use experience and judgment to plan and complete tasks under general supervision.
Work typically reports to a chief technologist or manager.
No floating or call required.
EMR system used: MedHost (EDIS).
Scrub color: Any.

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New Mexico (fingerprints required for all travelers).
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Philips Brightspeed imaging equipment.

Additional Information

No option for 48-hour guarantee or blocked scheduling.
Auto offers only; no interviews.
